Welcome to Drivezy. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users who book, rent, or use any vehicle through Drivezy’s platform. By making a booking with Drivezy, you agree to follow all rules mentioned below. If you do not accept these terms, you should not use our services.

Booking Rules

All bookings must be made through Drivezy’s official website, mobile app, or authorized customer support. A booking is considered confirmed only after payment is completed and customer details are verified. Customers must provide accurate personal information such as name, contact number, address, and driving license details. Drivezy has the right to cancel or reject any booking if details are incomplete, suspicious, or unverifiable.

Driving License Requirement

A valid original driving license is mandatory for renting a vehicle from Drivezy. The license must be legally approved in India and should not be expired, suspended, or damaged. Learner’s licenses are strictly not accepted. If the customer fails to provide a valid license at the time of pickup, Drivezy may cancel the booking and apply cancellation charges as per policy.

Minimum Age Policy

The minimum age requirement to rent a vehicle from Drivezy is 21 years. Some vehicles, especially premium category cars, may require the driver to be at least 23 or 25 years old. Customers must provide a valid government ID proof for age verification. If the driver does not meet the age requirement, Drivezy has full right to deny the rental without liability.

Payment Policy

All payments must be made online through Drivezy’s supported payment methods such as UPI, cards, net banking, or wallets. The booking amount includes only the rental fee as mentioned at the time of booking. Extra costs such as tolls, challans, fuel difference, cleaning charges, or late return penalties will be charged separately. Drivezy is not responsible for any payment failures caused by banks or payment gateways.

Security Deposit Rules

Drivezy may collect a refundable security deposit before providing the vehicle. The deposit amount depends on the vehicle type and booking duration. After the vehicle is returned, Drivezy will inspect it and refund the deposit within 7 to 14 working days. If any damage, challan, fuel shortage, late return charges, or cleaning charges are found, Drivezy has the right to deduct the amount from the security deposit.

Vehicle Usage Restrictions

The rented vehicle must be used only for legal and personal purposes. The customer must follow all traffic rules and drive responsibly. The vehicle must not be used for commercial use, racing, stunts, towing, or any illegal activity. Only the person registered on the booking is allowed to drive unless Drivezy approves an additional driver.

Vehicle usage restrictions include:

  • No overloading beyond seating capacity
  • No off-road driving without permission
  • No vehicle modifications
  • No sub-renting or giving the car to another person

Damage Responsibility

The customer is fully responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. Any damage such as dents, scratches, broken parts, tire damage, interior damage, or accident-related repairs will be charged to the customer. In case of an accident, the customer must inform Drivezy immediately. If damages are not reported, Drivezy may apply additional penalties and recover full repair costs from the deposit or customer account.

Cancellation Rules

Customers can cancel their booking, but refund eligibility depends on the cancellation timeline. If the cancellation is done early, a partial or full refund may be provided after deduction of service charges. Cancellations done close to pickup time may result in low or zero refund. If the customer fails verification or does not arrive at pickup time (no-show), no refund will be issued.

Drivezy may cancel a booking due to vehicle unavailability, verification failure, or operational issues. In such cases, refunds will be processed as per Drivezy policy.

Prohibited Activities

Drivezy vehicles must not be used for any illegal or unsafe activity. If any prohibited activity is detected, Drivezy can immediately terminate the rental agreement and take legal action.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Driving under alcohol or drugs
  • Rash driving, racing, drifting, or stunts
  • Carrying illegal items, weapons, or substances
  • Using the vehicle for criminal purposes
  • Sub-renting the vehicle or unauthorized driver usage
  • Driving into restricted areas without permission

Company Rights

Drivezy reserves full rights to protect its vehicles and services. Drivezy may cancel bookings, deny service, block accounts, or charge penalties if any customer violates the rules. Drivezy also has the right to track vehicles through GPS for safety purposes and recover losses in case of damage, theft, or fraud. Drivezy may update pricing, policies, and terms anytime without prior notice.
